Manchester 2009: Working for Inclusion
Manchester Metropolitan University 10-11 September 2009
This year's annual conference, entitled "Working for Inclusion", focuses on supporting those most excluded from the labour market. Only 10% of people with a learning disability or long term mental health needs are in paid employment. The conference will look at policy initiatives and best practice to improve these employment rates. This includes the potential impact of individualised budgets, public service agreements and the new employment strategies for learning disability, autism and mental health.
